Quite beautiful, no?
Last summer I played a little with a physics engine (APE) using Flash. It’s two pendulums set up side by side. One with a big paper attached and one with a pen. You set the pendulums in motion and then just watch. Depending on how heavy you’ve set the weights and where you place them before you start it can create an infinite number of (yet similar) “doodles”, hence doodulum.
I never finished it, but one can have some fun with it anyway. Please do. And if you create a doodle you’d like to share, please do that too. (There’s no share button there, just snap a screenshot and upload it to flickr or whatever. I’ll publish the first ten pics I get to know of below)
