Thanks to signature MSSM we now have a complete feel guide for Series 7. MSSM has also provided the bump codes from the batch he has found (508B2 EU). Note that the bump codes can be extra hard to see in this series. And as they vary between between some batches and are sometimes printed up-side-down and sometimes mirrored and sometimes both and … whatever, it’s always better to rely on the feel instructions. Note also that the code for the Viking Woman has a “weak” dot. Enjoy!

Tip about mini figures take a photo of the bump codes with your iPod or iPad then take it with you the next time you go to the shops and read the bump code and get the minifigure you want.😄😊😃

Just bought 5 with 100% success :) but for the bride it’s impossible to feel for the tiara. Feel for the dress and if it doesn’t have the hair of the viking woman it’s the bride. You might be able to feel for the flowers too.

Our local hobby shop has found a unique solution to help collectors get the mini fig they desire… They cut open the packets and sell them with a label on the front telling you what you are!

What I have noticed is the bump codes are useless unless you feel for the fig you want, if you are confident you have the one you want buy it and open it up. if it is correct go back and feel the other bags and compare the bump codes, the store will most likely have the same batches in the boxes so the codes may be more reliable this way, I tried this method of code and feel and i had a 95% success rate. for the space marines, the helmet is a dead give away, feel for the thickness in the front of the helmet were the visor would be , so you don’t confuse it with the dare devil or knight ..also feel for the armor piece and try to squish it. if it bends too much then its the knight.. the marines armor is stronger and the back has those 2 little pipes side by side in the back. I have yet to feel the gun but this set is the 2nd biggest set the viking girl and bride have big packages due to the “gown or dress part, and ocean king with the memaid tail…. I hope this helps you guys out…

Just picked up some selections from the US 402B2 release of these, and here’s what I found:
Daredevil: same as above
Computer programmer: the version used in Jungle Boy EU (except the right dot is a little more centered)
Bagpiper: left is about the same as EU bagpiper, then on the right: one centered dot at 25% across, one low dot at 60% across
Jungle boy: left: 1 centered dot at 30% across; right: 1 centered dot at 75% across
Hippy: left has the same 2 dots as the EU version; nothing on the right
Bunny: left: high/centered dot at 65%, right: low low dot at 85%
Things might differ, but that at least is what I found around here. =]

We bought 5 based on these dots and they are all wrong!

Probably different batch. The codes are not the best help for identifying any longer. I blame LEGO. =)
